Finished – “Savannah in Blue” watercolor

“Savannah in Blue” 8×10″ watercolor on aquabord

A shot of my watercolor class yesterday :-)

I am so proud of my students! They are doing great with their watercolors, each person has their own unique style and vision. I love being able to give them the same photo to paint from and then see how each one turns out differently. I try to let them have free reign as far [...]

Yet another Ball Jar… yeah I know… but it’s FUN!

This ball jar painting was used as a demo for my watercolor students. Learning how to paint reflections in glass, using many different colors to make it as realistic as possible… it was a challenging class for them, but they ALL DID FABULOUSLY! Even my 12 year old student, she rocked it . I finished [...]

Almost ready for the show!

Well, I got MOST of my framing done tonight! Just a few more 5 x 7″ watercolors to go, and then I am all set! This is just a fraction of what I am bringing to the show, a FRACTION! I still have many more including aceo’s and 4 x 4″ wc’s, and larger ones! [...]

Egads! 1 week and counting!

Time is flying by and I am scrambling to get my work ready for Panoply next weekend! 1 week! Where did my MONTHS go? Yes, I am stressing. I am a stressball ready to explode. I have lots of stuff to do, framing, paintings to finish (including the one I am going to show you [...]
